What I Love About SearchWarp

Voice Dynamic

This is an easy write. I have written over 600 articles on voice and presentation skills in the last 5 years which I submit to multiple websites but not to SearchWarp – at least not for the last 4 years. And, it has gotten to the point in my ‘professional’ writing where I wonder how I am going to create another article with a clever title and once again talk about the benefits of voice training or the best means of becoming a dynamic public speaker or the value of your diaphragm and why you should use it!

When I write for SearchWarp, however – which admittedly has been seldom over the last 2 years – I am always in for a treat. SearchWarp allows me to be myself and express my thoughts – my feelings, my pains, my joys, my angst. While some may disagree with my ideas, there is a wonderful respect in the SW community which our political system would be wise to emulate.

What I have found in the last few years is that there are not nearly as many comments on articles as there were in the past; and, I think I know why. Change on the internet happens continually. There was a time several years ago when there was a substantial group of writers who were devoting a tremendous amount of time to SearchWarp. I probably got involved in the 2nd half of that period. And, as much as I loved it and felt addicted to this engaging site, I realized that I needed to spend more time devoted to my business and less time expressing my whims.

Of course I never stopped receiving updates on writers of whom I had become a fan; and, if time permitted or my interest was greatly piqued or I just had to open my big mouth, I would comment. It is awfully difficult not to respond to Brianna’s words. How often she has lifted me up and given me my first laugh of the morning!

I teach how others how to paint a picture with their voice and their spoken words. The writers here at SearchWarp are so expressive with their written words and I love the visual picture that so many of you enable me to see.

The beauty of SearchWarp is that you can go away and come back again and still be welcome. Much like a good friend. And for that, I am grateful. And for that, I love SearchWarp.

P.S. I also still love the name SearchWarp. I guess it is because it has always reminded of going ‘where no man has gone before.’

I always love to hear from you. Hope all is well. We're busy and tired but hanging in there. Isn't it fun how SW (WS) keeps pulling you back?

I saw some of your teaching about verbal skills on line somewhere. I truly had never seen anyone better than you as you were talking and teaching your craft. Never, and I watch that sort of thing for various reasons. You were amazing. Anyway, I agree with your thoughts on Wryte Stuff/SearchWarp--we are always welcomed by so many people.
